Prompted by the Redknapp/Mandaric verdicts.

 

Any experiences or anecdotes of jury service?

 

Especially: how is a unanimous verdict reached after hours, or even days?

 

Having done the job, I have since been retrospectively baffled by how we got from a first pass of 8 - 4 in one case to 12 - 0 about 3 hours later.

 

Did anybody's minority get convinced by weight of argument or just worn out and fed up?
