Interesting article. I'm still not sure myself, the heart says yes but the economic realities make me think twice.

 

There would have to be some very imaginative ideas around job creation and taxation to make it work. You're looking at creating an entity containing a lot of the most run-down areas of the UK and very few prosperous areas.

 

It's great to live in a country with a proper viable, party with such radical ideas though.
