Row47 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Very late selling these tickets considering they are about to sell the cup final tickets too. I think they have been holding them back till after Saturdays game and see if there had been too much bother!

Its their anniversay of the Munich disaster
sutty Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 And still no tickets on sale. I dont think we are going to get any. Its their anniversay of the Munich disaster They're not allowed to do that unilaterally... But agreed, I've been checking on a daily basis and been expecting to see this for f***ing ages.
johngibo YPC Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Its getting weird nowSomething is going on
CarraLegend Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Probably trying to get our allocation cut to return the favour. That and the FA, Premier League wont want our supporters there as I have a feeling we'll see some of the most astonishing corruption ever in this game.
Bigal Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I am telling yers, pay on the day, first come, first served
Row47 Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 I am telling yers, pay on the day, first come, first servedThat would be ace. I think theres something going on though. 9 days of selling time to go. No details. Recent history. Munich anniversary. Dont tell anyone we have agreed to not have any tickets till as late as possible results in minimum backlash. Tell fans during selling the final tickets. Minimises the backlash further. Something not right!

The Suarez thing might be a part of it Dunno how though Alternatively, our ticket office could just be being s****.
johngibo YPC Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Alternatively, our ticket office could just be being s****. This can never be discounted

The Invisible Man Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 If they put out a release tomorrow then surely the earliest they could go on sale is Monday which doesn't leave much time to post out etc.?Plus they have the Cup Final tickets every day next week so are going to be rammed with 20,000+ next week for that.Last year we got 3000 and they went on sale 24th August for the fixture 19th September.Very odd
Row47 Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Why would we agree to no tickets ?Fear that we dont respect the minutes silence/anniversary . It could escalate into something nasty. Could be an opportunity for us to rise above it but can you be sure all of us will!!

Could be an opportunity for us to rise above it but can you be sure all of us will!! I'd be disappointed in the club if they showed so little faith in the fans as to deny them the opportunity of supporting the team.
smithdown Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 They'd sound very obvious when they sing their songs though.
Molby Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 did anyone hear the Sun/Hillsborough songs on Saturday? loud and clear - lad sitting near me had to be physically restrained from launching himself down the steps and in to a full on one-man assault of their fans wasn't bravado or drunkeness either, he actually looked distraught and virtually in tears; looked to be in his 50s but a regular guy, if you follow - could have lost a relative for all we know f*** off FA!
smithdown Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Heard it from them before they'd got in the ground. They were well audible on the box too, btw. As they would be seeing as it's pretty much the whole end, as loud as anything else anyway.
Billy Dane Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) Munich anniversary would be a great opportunity for us to sieze the moral high ground. Edited February 1, 2012 by Billy Dane
Falconhoof Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Munich anniversary would be a great opportunity for us to sieze the moral high ground. what do you mean ?
Row47 Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Munich anniversary would be a great opportunity for us to sieze the moral high ground.I agree and we could expose them for what they are! But can you be certain some of ours will not disrupt it!
Billy Dane Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The media and Utd fans will leap on any singing of Muinch songs, or interrupting a minutes silence. Dignified silence by us and it will put their Hillsborough songs etc into stark contrast. We will obviously have all the Suarez s*** to put up with, but steering clear of Munich wil help
Cobs Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I reckon the booing of Evra by us is gonna be a cakewalk compared to what they dish out to Suarez whether there's 72 or 75 thousand of them
Swan Red Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I reckon the booing of Evra by us is gonna be a cakewalk compared to what they dish out to Suarez whether there's 72 or 75 thousand of them was always going to be the case
Cobs Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 was always going to be the caseSo from a Utd perspective you'd want LFC fans there, right?
