so I'm leaving my job next week and have to go look for something else. got time etc. hardest thing I have had to do in the whole process - go through my email contact list that I've maintained at work and get rid of email accounts that are no longer valid. that included a couple of friends that died on 9/11. ten years and I couldn't bring myself to delete their names. It feel disloyal somehow.

 

Am I unlucky to lose my job? maybe.. I know one thing - I am lucky. I was supposed to be in that office that day. It was only someones stupidity in failing to get the files I needed to the head office that meant I flew to Seattle to review them instead.

 

Now I have no choice but to delete the addresses.
