WillG Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) After the brave stance 'The FA' took against Luis 'the dirty foreigner - irony anyone' Suarez and his recent despicable, nay unforgivable, behaviour, it was refreshing to see them taking such a firm line against 'John caught on camera calling Anton Ferdinand '"a fecking black c*nt"' Terry; and in no way body-swerving the whole handshake conundrum today. GUTLESS F*CKING GOBSHYTES !!!!! Edited January 29, 2012 by WillG
Stevie H Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 it seems to have been based on the QPR team collectively requesting it. fair play to them. the pre-match handshake wants unilaterally abolishing anyway, it's f***ing pathetic.
Zoob Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) Begs the question about what happens when we go to Old Trafford in a couple weeks. You'd think Suarez wouldn't want to shake Evra's hand more than the other way round, but obviously the s***-storm if Suarez refused would be unbelievable. .. And I really don't want Suarez to shake his hand. Accidentally break his leg (preferably after he's gifted us another goal), sure, shake his hand, not so much. Edited January 29, 2012 by Zoob
Billy Dane Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 The whole team should shake hands with the United players but just pat Evra on the head instead.

Did any QPR player shake hand with Terry after the game? wonder if SWP would've got any stick from the likes of Jason roberts and Mark Bright if he did
Tommy Cockles Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 The whole team should shake hands with the United players but just pat Evra on the head instead. Maybe a little pinch on the cheek as well.

Epic Swindle Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) The whole team should shake hands with the United players but just pat Evra on the head instead. Whilst wearing the t-shirts. Edited January 29, 2012 by Epic Swindle
Tommy Cockles Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Or we could kiss his hand and then fall at his feet.
Maldini Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 The whole team should shake hands with the United players but just pat Evra on the head instead. And pinch him
Ethan Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 They should just dance past him doing Jazz hands
dorgie Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 In ITVs highlights piece, they were showing clips of Terry & Ferdinanad prior to kick off....then they show Terry giving Boswinga a big pre-match hug. So deliberate it was cringeworthy.
Crazy Horse Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 They should just dance past him doing Jazz hands Or have Robbie Fowler as guest of honour...?
smithdown Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) be funny if a team england were playing decided they wouldnt shake his hand as well imagine the FA would fully support that as well Edited January 29, 2012 by smithdown
Cam Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 break his leg and THEN shake his handGordon Taylor would say that was fine.
Zoob Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 they should shake hands the real issue is with the FA, not Evra It's both really. Even thought he FA obviously stitched Suarez up completely, I would find it hard to shake hands with somebody whose lies (created because Suarez had his beating on the pitch) began the whole thing.

The unfortunate thing about this effort would be the media spin placed upon the event - "Liverpool heads still in the stand - Liverpool bosses continue to lower their clubs reputation by requesting no handshakes at the upcoming match due to uneasiness of RACIST Luis Suarez, implicated as a RACIST by Patrice Evra in recent months."

Hence the s***-storm I mentioned. They'll likely have to just shake hands to avoid this. Perhaps we could get Johnson not to shake Evra's hand. That would suitably confuse the press.
Rimbeux Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 This is quite shameful and extraordinary protection.
dorgie Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Suarez is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't anyway. If he does, Evra will be lauded for what a great lad he is for shaking hands with the man who made racist remarks to him. If he doesn't, well..........a journo's dream.

dunner74 Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Maybe Suarez should try to kiss and hug him. And in Godfather 3 style whisper "Negrito" into his ear (but not bite it off) like Vincent Corleone does to Joey Zasa.
Cheesecake Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 is godfather 3 the one where john terrys head(minus body) ends up on someones pillow? great flick that, did pacino get an oscar or sommat, or just an ovation from the qpr fans?
Epic Swindle Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 See he pleaded not guilty in his absence. Think a trial date is set now.
