so, the Carling Cup Final is the new Champions League Final

 

what's everyone doing and does anyone have any wisdom to impart? (high level wisdom, not "careful 'cos London is expensive")

 

 

 

I've got the train booked for Friday afternoon and back Sunday

 

would prefer a lift back so does anyone intend to drive a luxury 4x4 or saloon, perhaps a Range Rover a Daimler or a Merc, with plenty of room for me and the boy to stretch out? and perhaps with a lttle mini bar in the back and a boss sound system?

 

 

 

obviously need someone who won't drink but will appreciate my drunkeness

if you can't get a ticket, get a job as a steward with goldrange, piece of p1ss

 

if you get found out and get kb'ed and can't get in the ground, go to York House and ask Brian the caretaker if you can watch it from his gaff on the top floor

 

if he doesn't work there any more, I can't help you...we're talking 16 years ago, things change

Mate of mine has got 2 club seats at Wembley he's offered me. Waiting to see which end we get as he might have to try and swap them for our end. Not sure whether to take them or go and sit with the riff raff... :hmm:

just been thinking. they always play the English National anthem at cup finals. now, cant see Cardiff singing along, our lot always sing YNWA over the top of it, the Daily Mail will gio f***ing mad

The FA would probably want the game postponed as a mark of respect

I'll be watching it in town, I think. I'm poor and have no chance of a ticket, so it's not like I have much of a choice.

 

I think anyone who wants a ticket will be able to get one in the end. However I don't think any seats are going to come cheap for this one.

Aye, plus the travel and stuff will be a bit too much of a stretch.
