Bluetooth headsets

Generally speaking, whenever I see anyone with one of those things I think 'T W A T!!' so it pains me to say that I think I might have to get one for work purposes (specifically for taking calls when I'm in the car).... any recommendations on brand, model etc.

 

Or can I get away without one by hooking up my iPhone (3GS) to my car stereo?
