cymrococh Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 We brought a couple of tables back from Australia that we're now thinking of selling to bring in some cash. These are one-off, handmade tables made from Australian Red Gum (made by this bloke http://www.burlgallerysydney.com/aboutus.html). It's entirely possible that they are the only ones of their kind in the UK. Now the thing is, we want to make sure we get as much as possible for them so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a selling method that will accomplish this? The obvious market for these would be Australian expats, so do you reckon Gumtree? What about a furniture auction? (we'd be setting quite a high reserve) I'm going to get these blokes to have a look at them and get a better idea of what we can expect to get. I don't want to just chuck them on ebay and get a load of people trying to get a bargain.
