Said a culture of real arrogance has developed the last few years, from Wenger down. He thinks it's time for a change there, Wenger and Rice aren't listening to anyone, and they are slowly sliding backwards while the shareholders cash in.

Can't compare the two, Wegner has proven himself at the very top and although he may be losing his touch now some of his arsenal teams were a joy to watch.

Arsene has done well overall and no one bar Kenny and the drunken tramp have won more leagues in England out of the current crop of managers. I have won as many as Roy.

Overrated, never won a major European trophy either. I don't envy Arsenal fans, the man has become as influential as Ferguson but it's clear it needs a shake up.

How would you compare him against Kenny? Both won leagues and cups and never one a european trophy as manager.

Kenny never had the chance tbf, can't say.

 

Actually he did at Newcastle but it can't be compared to the opportunites Wenger has had.

Anyway, just saying we were being quite dismissive of Wegner when he has achieved a lot for Arsenal.

He's an excellent manager and been fantastic for them, though I think he's long disappeared up his own anus and been indulged to the detriment of the club, but I don't think he can put in the top bracket until he wins a european trophy, especially with the opportunites he's had.

wenger is the biggest whinger in football.

 

every time arsenal lose it is the referee's fault. every f***ing time

 

he was a good manager a few years ago but he has long ago lost it.

 

always complaining about his players not getting protection from refs. man up ffs you clown

 

when he had vieira, petit,adams, keown, parlour, wright, dixon and players who loved a scrap in his teams he didnt care when

 

those lads kicked lumps out of players and were always getting red cards. now he has a team of second rate sh!thouses in his team

 

he never stops moaning. i used to like his teams when they had the few hard lads but played nice stuff too.

 

but for the last 2 or 3 years he knows he has lost his eye for a good player and his teams have a soft centre which he refuses

 

to address by signing some quality defensive players and a keeper, so he constantly complains about refs to mask

Seeing a fair bit in the press about the fans starting to turn against Wenger. Doesn't seem that long since they did the same and then went on a run.

 

While the seeming decline smacks of his arrogance, something doesn't quite ring true about where all the money is going, I think it's going in the owners pocket. They'd better be careful what they wish for, because the board will carry on as is. A Hodgson style replacement could be a disaster for them.

 

Not that I'd give a tuppny mind.
