Even in such abject misery everyone in the boozer could'y help but laugh at this lad and his tenacity. Fantastic buy and if we're going to do anything this season he'll be at the forefront of it.

Agreed. If a few more would show his passion and drive, things would be a whole lot better.

He's been just brilliant. A thirty-something free transfer who'd been playing in the championship. Must give John Henry food for thought.

 

 

He should know that getting quality players on free transfers is a luxury fringe aspect of the market, not the rule.

You only have to look at the struggle we had getting shut of jovanovic.

His goals and contributions per minutes on the pitch have been superb. Just a shame he can't play 2 games a week. Really need him for both upcoming games against the Manc teams.

I love Bellers. I often wonder why I didn't love him the first time around? He was on the bench in Athens, if we were playing that game with 'today's' Bellamy we'd have moidered them.

He'd play 90 minutes of every game in my team if I chose it. He scintillates every time he gets the ball and sends a wobble through the opponents and that is a quality only possessed by him amongst our current players. There's maybe one other but he can't play at the moment.

Only one who played with any heart today IMO. Saw Carroll moaning about one of his corners being s*** in the second half. It wasn't a great corner, but I thought Carroll had a f***ing cheek moaning about it when you consider his contribution since he arrived at the club.

 

Reo-Coker also seemed to have a proble, with Bellamy in the after match interview. :lol:
