Andy-oh-six Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 (edited) You starting the thread is our only hope. That and Spearo being fit. Edited January 21, 2012 by Andy-oh-six
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 About f***ing time, I see you save yourself for the games you know we'll win!
CarraLegend Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 The team news guy I copy the line up off from est said last week Spearing is out for 3 weeks. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he plays. If not I'd put Carra there. I know, I know, he's past it, his distribution is atrocious but whats the alternative? At least he'll track Silva, the rest dont bother and I want Gerrard to be able to get forward as he's one of our few goal threats.
aka Dus Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I am guessing Kenny saw our starting XI today as the one to start Tuesday.
Ethan Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I am guessing Kenny saw our starting XI today as the one to start Tuesday. That was our best available 11 there today so I'd say you are right
psl Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 (edited) Is it Weds? Edited January 21, 2012 by psl
Rimbeux Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Hope Spearing is fit, hope it's a midfield three. Anything like a repeat of today and it will be more than 3
FC Showster Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Starting to worry that we sat back in the first leg when they were s**** and might be made to pay for that on Weds night
stressederic Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 lets raise our game and have these d****eads For every match thread you fail to start for the rest of this season, a bear is going to come to your house and punch you in the face.
Epic Swindle Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 For every match thread you fail to start for the rest of this season, a bear is going to come to your house and punch you in the face. Nothing to do with tyhe thread starter and all to do with us raising our game when we feel like it.
meredithmathieson Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I am guessing Kenny saw our starting XI today as the one to start Wednesday. I thought that it was generally accepted that Bellamy's knees won't stand two games in quick succession? I was kind of presuming that he won't start on Wednesday as he did today?
schmuckdonald Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Who's going to this? Looking forward to our 7-2-1.
Sion Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 Nothing to do with tyhe thread starter and all to do with us raising our game when we feel like it. You would say that with your record.
Epic Swindle Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 You would say that with your record. Your fault mate.
Epic Swindle Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Bit scared now, going out is not an option given our domestic issues. Think a few minds were already on this game though and they need to step up.
Case Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Starting to worry that we sat back in the first leg when they were s**** and might be made to pay for that on Weds nightYou're right. We should have bombed forward after we'd lost our holding midfielder due to injury, and ignored the fact they came right back at us in the second half with much more quality. We should have lost 4-1. That way we could look forward to a glorious comeback on Wednesday.

Epic Swindle Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Coates for me, could be the making of him.
Drexl Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 The team news guy I copy the line up off from est said last week Spearing is out for 3 weeks. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he plays. Henderson does all the running, Carra telling him where to go. I don't see Carra keeping up with Silva.
D.Boon Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 If Carra or Coates get tasked with keeping Silva quiet we are in for a long night.
psl Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 An injury or red card for Silva this afternoon would be appreciated.
