from today's online beeb...

"Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has defended his brandishing of an imaginary card in an appeal for Maynor Figueroa to be sent off for handball in Monday's 1-0 win over Wigan.

The Italian manager said his actions were "normal" in the circumstances and pointed out that Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney had done something similar when Vincent Kompany was sent off during his side's defeat by United in the FA Cup earlier this month."

Now don't be afraid to point out if I'm wrong (as I am a little bit pissed) but wasn't this the same Mankini who went into a f*cking card waving frenzy at our league game just over a week ago.

The reason I ask is that every time I see this faux scarve wearing prick, I can't help but to want him to fail on every level - despite the fact that they're the only team that can stop the Glams winning their 20th title.

It's a f*cking moral dilema I tell you!

Which one of those two c*nts would you want to win the title this year - you can only choose between the two of them!

...and yes, before you ask, I have considered the meteor/Manchester deby scenario

Ive no problem with the old card waving histrionics....whats the difference between that and shouting "thats a red card" or "book him danno" to the ref anyway.

Anyway I thought you'd all be on board with his "its ok to do this in my country" defence

I am not joining the bandwagon to be getting down on Roberto. He's not the first footballer/manager of any nationality to wave a card and f*** knows won't be the last. I smell a bit of the xenophobia that Rafa suffered from in the press starting to appear in relation to how they are trying to paint him. And he's the best chance going to f*** Man United out of first position this season.

Totally agree with that. Players ask for cards in every game. No different to waving imaginary cards

I met Bigal in real life the other week. He begged me to explain how to use the search function on the forum.

It took me half an hour, and I had to draw some diagrams, but I'm pleased to see he got there in the end.
