With tricky games for Chelsea and Arsenal its without saying 3 points at home are a must....but its where we seem to struggle to be ruthless....will be interesting to see how Kenny lines us up after Wed's super win...id go with

In fairness, Sion has been playing chicken with this lately. He's getting so cocky he'll soon think that he doesnt have to start a match day thread.

 

That said, Sion starting the thread is more important to the team than Carroll is at the moment.

This is gonna be tough, especially if theres a bit of tiredness and dunno if Gerrard will start, Bellamy obviously wont so we are looking a little short. Time for some who arent delivering to step up.

team should be on a high after the last 2 perfomances and with Andy and Downing both finding the net last time out at Anfield they should be busting to get out there again and peform with alot of confidence...well you would think wouldint yea?

id like to see him upfront off Carroll for his movement alone, think he has always put in a good performance when upfront as he has those natural finishers instincts about him and positions imself well in the box...think he would be clever enough to play off someone like Andy...plus with Bellamey unlikely to play where arnt left with much other options

Downing will play, so it's who plays on the opposite wing, which will be Kuyt or Maxi.

That look's about what will happen for me. Adam, Maxi and Kuyt didn't start wednesday, so you'd guess they were earmarked for this one.

 

We can safely say Bellamy will be rested, that Enrique will come back in, and that Spearing's out, so the team virtually picks itself, unless Kenny feels the urge to give Downing a crack at being good and resting Henderson for Shelvey.
