It might just be me but I find using Gary's death as a basis for a cheap dig at us and Everton fans really insensitive.
Billy Dane Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 "Tom Adeyemi was a victim of the malaise that has gripped football fans at the moment, their lack of moral sense and their lack of empathy with fellow human beings. In a way, Bill Kenwright was too." A bit rich of a journalist to accuse other people of this I think.

It might just be me but I find using Gary's death as a basis for a cheap dig at us and Everton fans really insensitive.Totally agree... Completely unnecessary... Especially with it being one person involved in the Adayemi situation.... That enough to tar everyone with the same brush and make an entire article off the back of it and a few protesters at Goodison?
Swipe Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) Vile that. He's always been a floppy-haired bellend. They're all s*** journos too, these hacks who've spent the past month laying into us. None of them can write for s***. Add to that their spite and it really is staggering such people have platforms. Their self-righteousness is hilarious. Edited January 11, 2012 by Swipe
Epic Swindle Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) They think they're the new rock stars. The Mirror has especially gone up its own a***, every article starts with "why I believe" or "why so and so should listen to me". f***ing dopes. Edited January 11, 2012 by Epic Swindle
Stevie H Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 i think the mirror must be closing its doors soon or something. its football journalists are behaving like it's the end of days.
muleskinner Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 That's great. Yeah "in the current climate" that's a red card challenge even if the current climate is b******s.Apparently a photographer, a steward and people sat in the seats around the accused have gone to the police and said there was no racist abuse. If true it will be interesting to see hoe these hacks back down from their immediately assumed positions.
superledger Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 The guy's a moron. Often, he has two contradictory articles on one page. Often has conflicting articles on an issue on consecutive days. Leads me to believe that one half of him is journalist while the other half has to give in to an anti-Liverpool editorial policy. Then again, He might just be a prick.
RBM Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 We need to put together a fan group to take on and tackle the appalling and vicious press coverage we as a club continue to suffer. It's certainly ramped up recently, but is not a new phenomenon, they've been having a dig at us for years, just look at the shameful treatment Rafa received. We take abuse off the press no other club receives.
CarraLegend Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 He's a c*** of a man. It's not just subjects like that he writes nonsense about either. March 28th - David Maddock. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Liverpool-transfer-news-Lucas-is-being-lined-up-for-a-3m-move-to-Napoli-as-Reds-continue-to-track-Blackpool-star-Charlie-Adam-as-central-midfield-replacement-article717921.html Napoli head the queue for Liverpool midfielder Lucas, who has not yet been offered a new Anfield contract. The Brazilian international is closing in on the last 12 months of his current deal, and there have been no moves from within the club to extend. That suggests his days on Merseyside are numbered, with the club already preparing their transfer plans for the summer under new director of football Damien Comolli. The fact that talks have not even opened suggests it is now unlikely to happen, and Serie A side Napoli have taken note. March 30th 2 days later...... Lucas signs new contract! http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/lucas-signs-new-reds-deal
PhilM Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 More to the point, why does he feel that racial abuse and protests against the club's owner are even remotely similar in context and what do they actually have to do with Gary Ablett passing. It's like he's thought "Hey, Ablett's death seems to have created something that reds and blues agree on. This won't do."

Jonesy Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I'm a floppy haired bellend Dont know why I said that You are David Maddock and I claim .......etc etc
drvegapunk Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 More to the point, why does he feel that racial abuse and protests against the club's owner are even remotely similar in context and what do they actually have to do with Gary Ablett passing. It's like he's thought "Hey, Ablett's death seems to have created something that reds and blues agree on. This won't do." If that was his aim then its backfired, as both reds and blues now also agree that Maddock is a prick!
