that goal vs Arsenal though - i remember seeing it for the first time and i didn't even know how he'd done it.. even slowing the slo-mo on my Tivo and it's still a miraculous piece of skill.. to do it in a big game, at that speed is just incredible.. incredible..

Thought that was a really odd choice to be one of the goals of the year. I know it was a big match, but Messi has probably scored at least half a dozen better goals than that during the year.
