With City playing on January 1st and January 3rd, it appears that they have decided to use their 'less stronger' players away to Sunderland as Silva and Aguero are rested along with Richards.

 

Hart, Kolarov, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Barry, Johnson, Y Toure, Nasri, De Jong, Dzeko.

Subs Pantilimon, Savic, Richards, Clichy, Milner, Silva, Aguero

 

 

Hopefully we can field Suarez and Gerrard from the start whilst Maxi should be good for a start after missing Newcastle - maybe its a game too far for Bellamy.

I cant comfortable with leaving Henderson out but yet I cant get him into the team with Gerrard, Spearing and Adam unless Gerrard plays off Suarez and Maxi/Henderson take the wide roles. With Suarez and Gerrard in the team and a good solid back 4, I think we can get a result if we can get an industrious performance from the midfielders and dont get overrun in there.
