Sopcast or alternative for i Mac

I was over at the inlaws for dinner today and had my laptop with me to watch the match on.

My fil asked if he could do the same with his mac. I tried to download sopcast but it wouldnt open. I then went onto a site for info how to get it working , but it seemed too complicated.

Is there an easy way to get sopcast on a Mac or is there an alternative?
