that is all...

 

have to go to work tomorrow and face a plethora of fans from other teams...i have no answers...have to talk to spurs fans who will try to wind me up

 

not good enough today...to be honest Kenny made some mistakes....in my humble opinion

Our first loss in 11 odd games.

 

so? we draw too much, we are possibly going to finish 6th...tough times...we haven't improved our standing so far since last season...

 

how many points did we have from 14 games last season? 21? don't know it was somewhere close, and that was with hodgson here....

 

we are not at the level of other teams, signs of promise, nothing more..

So you're saying Kenny is no better than Hodgson?

 

am saying there is no marked improvement from this time last season to now...

Fourth is a big ask I fear.

I think Spurs are gone bar injuries and 'Arry getting banged up.

Us, Chelsea, Red Manc and Arsenal fighting for third/fourth. Big battle.

it's huge...we don't seem to have the killer instinct to beat mid-table or lower table teams...

 

Dont see us getting 4th tbh. But i wasnt really expecting it this year anyway. Frustrating though as we havent played badly this season.

there is no reason for including man utd in that list...they are gone...chelsea and arsenal are 5 and 3 ahead...

Think the two Mancs are utter certs for top two. Hard to look past spurs for third right now. Fighting it out with Chavs and arsenal for fourth is gonna be tough.

 

We need goals.

Manure has had a "s****" central midfield for a decade, they got two workhorses in there and more then enough quality on the ball around them.

I'd hate to see him/them win it, but on the other side it would be priceless if Adebayor's goals were the difference in them winning it! Can he be recalled in January. If I was City I would :satan:

Think it's weaker this season than ever (with Scholes gone and Giggs declining more) but it'll take teams like Villa to start trying a leg against them.

Yeah, but havnt you, as I have, had that feeling for a farking long time now? Even if you get the better of them, they got 4-5 players that can change the game on their own... either through pace, dribbling or determination.

 

During 09 when we finished 2nd we had a few players like that, all gone now, but you just expected someone to be calm enough under pressure to just do whats necessary. We gotta "keep calm and carry on" for 38 games, but we dont have that, its head down and too much stress if its not going our way. A lot of it is down to skills of course, but at he same time you got to have the right mentality. Our players cant, havnt learned to handle the pressure IMO.

Their 08-09 team had some forward line.

They're a bit reliant on Rooney alone now but there is a winning mentality they have which we don't and an expectatancy to win as well.

We hope to.

Pako said it too in 05-06.

We simply don't have enough goals in our team to get fourth it pains me to say. We're just not clinical enough.

 

The game tonight just summed up our problems this season.

 

Shame as we play some decent attacking football.
