Guess it depends on the terms of the loan deal - I assume he can't play against City as it stands and so City probably will fancy him to be useful to take points off their other rivals - kinda what's wrong with the whole deal as it is.

Pretty sure you can't recall season-long loans. Spurs paid a few quid for him as well.
