[Epic Swindle]

So I'm edging out of my path and a fella on a bike (on the pavement) runs into me. He claims it was my fault and is getting legal advice and a witness (bitch from next door). I told him he shouldn't have been on the walk way, end of story. Should I just offer him a few quid?
