We may have p*ssed money away on players like Carroll, Henderson and Downing, but we've also done incredibly well on sales when you think about it. Better than nearly everyone I'd argue. We don't f*ck too much up.

 

Torres -- 50 million for him is now looking like the robbery of the century. I wouldn't pay 10 million for him now.

Riera -- 4 million. Has he done a thing since he left us?

Xabi -- 30 million. I'd rather have kept him of course. But we weren't ripped off. It was a fair price.

Riise -- 4 million. Decent deal.

Sissoko -- 8 million. Great price. No complaints.

Crouch -- 11 million. Really? Incredible.

Baros -- 7 million. Done b*gger all since.

Benayoun -- 6 million. Played what? Ten games since?

Babel -- 8 million. We could still be proved wrong but he is hardly tearing things up

Meireles -- 12 million. Looks good to me. He was good but hasnt been exceptional since he left us.

Fowler -- 13 million. God nosedived after he left us. Man, did we luck out with that price.

 

 

Even players who we got rid of who were supposed to have great futures have not gone on to great things. Le Tallec, Hobbs, Sinama, Welsh, etc all haven't done much.
