Ombudsam Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) If he were 24 right now he wouldn't get a game would he? Football's innovation evolution and "progression" is amazing isn't it Edited November 12, 2011 by sammya

Gambit Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 We lack a finisher like him, he'd be a starter for Liverpool every time! Suarez + Muller = goals galore
Benzo-13 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 One of the world's best ever strikers.Loony thread.Like saying Romario would be obsolete.
Leo No.8 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) Out and out poachers are a dying breed though, I think its fair to say that generally. I've only seen a few highlights of Muller so can't talk about him specifically. Edited November 12, 2011 by Leo No.8
Ombudsam Posted November 12, 2011 Author Posted November 12, 2011 Explain? he was a world class goalscorer who wasn't that hot in general play. you can't do that in a team that is the equivalent of what his Bayern Munich and West German teams were One of the world's best ever strikers.Loony thread.Like saying Romario would be obsolete. Romario was different

épieur Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Mario Gomez is doing it now And Inzaghi not long before that.
Leo No.8 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 And Inzaghi not long before that. Should be a bannable offence taking about that c*nt in anything but derogatory terms. Hate him so much
épieur Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Should be a bannable offence taking about that c*nt in anything but derogatory terms. Hate him so much He scored against us in a CL final to deprive us no 6. And then his usual face if surprised entitlement that always seems to say "omg, I can't believe I scored that tap-in. I must be the best player in the world. I am. Can anyone believe I scored that tap-in and singlehandedly won the game for my team?"
Bootle Buck Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Hardly any club would be able to afford him. If Torres is worth 50 million and pure poacher and finisher like Muller would be worth 100 million.
surf Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Should be a bannable offence taking about that c*nt in anything but derogatory terms. Hate him so much i thought stevie h was the inzaghi hater, or are you both part of the same club?

matty Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Cristian Vieri and Van Nistelrooy were just tap in merchants. Got a hell of a lot of tap ins.
fred milne Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Out and out poachers are a dying breed though, I think its fair to say that generally. I've only seen a few highlights of Muller so can't talk about him specifically.Does Hernandez at Utd count as an out and out poacher?
Nerik Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Inzaghi still doing well and he was never as prolific as Muller.
Earl Hafler Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Should be a bannable offence taking about that c*nt in anything but derogatory terms. Hate him so much Should be. Made a living from scoring goals in offside positions. He needed a map if he left the penalty area. f***ing t***.
Woodsyla Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 i thought stevie h was the inzaghi hater, or are you both part of the same club? It's a wide and varied club. My dislike for the goalhanging, always offside, useless, 'how the f*** does he get a game for them?', c*** escalated a few notches after 2007. f***ing useless hatful of goal-scoring c***.

My link Posted that back in 06. Can you imagine a forward line of Defoe and Inzaghi ? The linesman would have to be an octopus, or Guanyin.
New York Red Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Muller wasn't a tap-in merchant. He was like a pit bull running around the penalty area, pouncing on every loose ball and instantaneously slamming it into the goal. He was absolute murder to defend against.
