Edit... left the l out of Clasico. I cut and paste it , too :)

Some help needed please.

I've booked a break over in Madrid at the time the Madrid/Barcelona game is on. Obviously, I'd love to go and see it live but I'm not fussed about missing out and would be equally happy sitting in a bar in Madrid to watch the game (bonus would be if I could watch the Liverpool / QPR game just before hand).

I've looked on the 'net and the ticket prices are nuts. So my question is- What are the chances of picking up a ticket for the game for about £100-150? I managed to get a ticket for the Barca-Liverpool game (2-1 to us) out side the Camp Nou for face value, but is this likely to be much more difficult and should I just not bother?

Another angle would be to play the 'I'm a Liverpool fan wanting to experience the event' card....likely to be a good tactic or leave me open to abuse and a potential kicking?

Thanks

On a positive note for the Madrid v Liverpool game I met a fella who was hanging round outside the game and some fella came up to him and just gave him a ticket

Another couple I met went to a cafe/bar by the ground and were offered a pair for face value just after kick off

So you might get lucky. Worth a go init

No idea, but tickets for the black eyed peas (VIP section) are going for a song.

Unlike Fergie, the fat biffer.

go to the ground at about 3pm on the day of the game

might give you a flavour of how it will be later on, price-wise

in fact just buy the tickets then if you see any

You'll get one outside but I reckon for around €200.

I go over to the Barca-Real game at Camp Nou every season and they're often readily available. Got one for the semi-final in May for €150 and one for the 5-0 for €100. Bear in mind face value was €100.

You might want to keep an eye on servicaixa, people's returns were put on there for the clasico last season the day before.

Bloody hell, I'm defo doing that. I was thinking they'd be like gold dust and about £500 or something!

If you're going to the Barcelona one you need to keep an eye on ticketmaster.es a few days before the game. There are always plenty of people selling before the match by the ticket booth outside the ground. Just hang around until just before the game. Don't bother with any of the touting websites, they just rip you off.

Also if it's raining you're much more likely to get one as most of the stadium is uncovered

I've seen that for Barca v Liverpool too, the lad was bladdered as well, buzzing off shaking hands with their supporters outside the ground and a family offered him a spare to go in with them. Weird.
