Argentina

[The Hitman]

Having decided to bite the bullet, I'm getting married next year and we've decided to head to Argentina for our honeymoon.

We have a fairly basic itinerary in place that I've put together myself by looking through a few other packages out there. It's basically the following:

 

Buenos Aires (3 days)

El Calafate (3 days)

Bariloche (3 days)

Iguazu (3 days)

Home

 

Planning on doing plenty of hiking,kayaking stuff at Iguazu and Bariloche.It looks absolutely fantastic there.

 

Has anybody got any recommendations for things to do,places to see etc? I've already looked up the footie and have seen that there's a River Plate home game when we're in town,so planning to head to that (maybe in exchange for a tango show or something!).

 

It sounds like a stupid question,but would it be safe to go to the footie with the missus? Again, it may sound stupid, but it's worth noting that she is Asian (British Indian) so I'm wondering what attitudes are like out there with regard to racism etc.
