Disappearing Island

I suppose this is happening everywhere due to global warming and a lot of influential people just not giving a sh*t.

 

But this does illustrate the accents down there on the isalnds of the Chesapeake. Even in this clip you can see the generational change in accents, but the older generation has more than a tinge of Englishness in it. Supposedly there are some islands down there where it is even more pronounced.
