sutty Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 You're f***ing joking They 2 tiering the ticket price? They are 2 tiering. 56 quid for the lower tier. f***ing hell.
Gunga Din Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 thats scandelous. anyone travelling down from Liverpool will be doing well to get change out of £150 when you factor in transport, parking and a scran.

Al's already booked his travel and that. It's less that the cost of the ticket to go the match
CarraLegend Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I couldnt even go to all the games now if I wanted to, its f***ing nuts and going up by the season. Could do the Rome derby cheaper than going to see Liverpool in London.
Falconhoof Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Is there a case for an organised boycott of these grounds that charge these prices ?Goes against the grain of getting behind our team obviously but there has to be a tipping point surely ? Obviously nothing to do with me anyway as I had no intention of going.
Sion Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 There's scope to charge well more as well. We charge 48 for cat A, 59 for Londoners is probably cheaper than 48 for scousers
Gunga Din Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 There's scope to charge well more as well. We charge 48 for cat A, 59 for Londoners is probably cheaper than 48 for scousers so there you go folks. £59 is cheaper than £48. you heard it here first
Sion Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 so there you go folks. £59 is cheaper than £48. you heard it here firstLazy response that.
sutty Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 so there you go folks. £59 is cheaper than £48. you heard it here first And in next weeks show, why 2-1 is better than 0-0
Bigal Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 And in next weeks show, why 2-1 is better than 0-0 Oh god, I remember that debacle
Raj Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Lazy response that. Well, I live in London and I wont pay that price. That's a joke
sutty Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Well, I live in London and I wont pay that price. That's a joke Out of interest - did you go to Arsenal?
Raj Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Out of interest - did you go to Arsenal? Not this season. Been loads before though. Again. I think its too expensive, but I am trying to save money for a trip abroad so its a sacrifice that is made a lot easier. Put it this way, its cheaper for me to get a return ticket to Brighton, watch the CC game and have a few beers there than it is to go to Stamford Bridge or The Emirates. I live about 6/7 miles away from Chelsea too.

johngibo YPC Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 (edited) Kids ticket for £20 at Arsenal. Anywhere there is a ticket scanner instead of a manned turnstile I buy kidsI use a similar principle at the self service aisle in TescoEdit: you can't do this at Chelsea, they take great delight in f***ing you off Edited October 27, 2011 by johngibo YPC
Raj Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Yeah I know. I'm wrestling with it having paid 55 or whatever it was at Arsenal. All ticket prices are too high in my opinion, but its got to the point where I have to consider what I think is affordable or not. I never thought that would be the case with Liverpool, as I've never been that worried, even when watching them around Europe. I can get a ticket to see England v Spain for £35 at Wembley. Decent spec, although surrounded by bellends I know. But I get to see the best national team in the world for a reasonable price. £24 cheaper than the Chelsea game and thats £24 I will spend on booze instead.

Raj Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 That's two halves of shandy in London, no? Most places yeah. But I know where to go to get cheaper ale
