got a spreadsheet withvarious sub totals columns, derived from calculations of various complexity

 

in the monthly profit and loss, the first month shows zero while all the others are correct

 

clicking in the box, it correctly reads c12-c38, all looks kosher, same as all the others; and all the others eg d12-d38, e12-e38 return the right answer

 

why does this one just show zero?

 

ok it seems to be working now

 

something to with the autosum on dependent cells, although I'm still baffled as to why the dependent answers were correctly displayed
