Carrying on from Tony Le whats his faces random comment in the Photography mag Thread.

 

Recycling:

 

We now have a grand total of 4 feckin wheelie bins.

 

Green: Plastics and tins. Emptied monthly, first week of the month, full to bursting point after 2 weeks.

Brown: Garden Waste and waste food stuffs. With an additional little brown caddy thing for keeping in the hoose for your plate scrapings. Monthly,emptied second week, never got more than quarter full.

Grey: Paper and cardboard, monthly, third week. Half full

Blue: Landfill, fortnightly. full

 

WTF????

 

Apparently taking the rubbish to the bins is and always has been a "mans" job, so joe clunt here is left with it all.

FFS its a full time job in my hoose as there are 5 of us.

 

Apparently if this little experiment is successful we are getting another one as well for god knows what???? Glass I think.

 

Doing my nut in, we have a constant array of different plastic bags full of rubbish, strewn around the kitchen.

 

Rumours abound that the litter police are going to start handing out fines if you have the wrong stuff in the wrong bin.

 

The worlds gone feckin mad.
