It's amazing, it's like in the Simpsons where they run through a massive list of horrible side effects in a nanosecond...I was in a van the other day, picking up some furniture & had the radio on (wireless Murph) & an ad came on for NuVigil which is basically speed - it's for people struggling with shift-work disorder, I'm looking for the radio ad online as you have to hear it - esp the legal disclaimer about the side effects, but I looked them up - here they are. f***ing horrific:

 

Side Effects of Nuvigil - for the Consumer

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Nuvigil:

 

Diarrhea; dizziness; dry mouth; headache; nausea; stomach pain or upset; tiredness; trouble sleeping.

 

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Nuvigil:

 

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty swallowing or breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue; unusual hoarseness); blisters on the inside of the eyes, nose, or mouth; chest pain; dark urine; fast or irregular heartbeat; fever, chills, or sore throat; increased urination; mental or mood changes (eg, aggression, agitation, anxiety, depression, exaggerated sense of well-being, hallucinations, irritability, nervousness); red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; shortness of breath; suicidal thoughts or actions; swelling of the legs; unusual bruising or bleeding; vomiting; weakness; yellowing of the skin or eyes.
