The Leigh MP admits he has been frustrated by the stance of past city councils on the stadia issues, particularly over Stanley Park. “That frustrated me a bit because from my blue tinted perspective I kind of felt that there was more help being provided by the city council back then, not the current administration, to Liverpool,” he says.

“I remember asking an official from the council when I was culture secretary, “So what park are you going to let Everton build on?” when they were talking about there not being a site for us.

Wonder if they mentioned the Kings Dock. Should be on Bluekipper this deluded bitter c***.

Read the rest of it, I was searching for the sick bucket. They love playing on that romantic underdog nonsense, how they've stayed close to their roots, which means they're skint, and yet they also want to play with the big boys.

“It’s a club with soul”

“You walk in through these doors and it’s welcoming. It’s about the love of the club and the sport and that’s what sets Evertonians and Everton apart.”

These exciting phrases and more now available in all formats of sticker including full rear window from the club shop.

I like Burnham.

He was good to his word re: help for Hillsborough files.

He is a blue, fair enough.

I doubt anyone would say otherwise. He's been supportive of the justice campaign and I think any reasonable red would be grateful.

Doesn't stop people disagreeing with what he's saying on this issue.
