Henderson cant be allowed to start. If he does then Charlie Adam cant be allowed to start. Would drop both but getting Henderson out of the team is vital, certainly for this and the Man Utd game anyway. Agree. Can see Kuyt starting. Be an interesting choice between Carroll and Bellamy. Andy might have secured himself a start yesterday.

I wouldnt start Adam in this one - I've said it long before his sending off at Spurs but the fella loves a tackle which is a shame cause he isnt very good at it. Given the nature of this game, he would be a model to pick up a booking which puts him in an awkward position.

 

Spearing could also start and Gerrard could play right.

I'm just gonna hope its not one of the worst, but bet its Webb. He'll be dying to show his authority and book players from the off, meaning he'll end booking about 12 players and sending off at least 2.

The match is gonna be played at a frantic pace and i can see Adam really struggling with the ball and without. Adam is always liable to give away stupid and dangerous fouls in around the area and this is one game i wouldn't mind him sitting out. Ideally i'd have Stevie ahead of Bellamy but i think the games come abit too early for him to start.

I, for one, think Suarez will play, ideally it should be Gerrard, Kuyt, Bellamy, Downing and Maxi on the pitch as well. Instead it will be Carroll, Henderson and Adam playing with Gerrard and Bellamy on the bench.
