He was only a Pizza Hut delivery guy

Report Says Witness Ignored Dying Man

"...it is beyond belief"

Bone-chilling details came to light Thursday in the 2010 murder of a pizza deliveryman. Turns out someone was warned that the crime was about to happen. He saw it happen and even walked by the victim's body, but did nothing to help.

It was last September when Christopher Taylor was lured to an empty apartment where he was stabbed to death just outside Omaha city limits. Soon after, four young men were arrested. Investigators say Larry Fountain's cell phone was used to order the pizza. Marcus Robinson provided the getaway car, Dontavis McClain pushed the victim and Bryton Gibbs stabbed Taylor.

In court Wednesday, Gibbs plead guilty to second-degree murder. He could face 20 years in prison. Cases against the other three are pending.

Officials Thursday shared a shocking detail from the investigation. According to a supplementary report, a witness told deputies he did nothing to help because Taylor was "just a Pizza Hut delivery guy."

"Not only did they not do anything to prevent something that would happen or that might be happening, but the attitude was, well it's just a pizza delivery guy, I mean that's kind of beyond, it is beyond belief," said Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine. "That that's the kind of attitude anyone would have about a person who is just an innocent individual, just doing their job and having something like this happen to them."

According to the report, the witness also told deputies he didn't call 911 because his sister already was doing so.

Taylor's family said they will not speak out until the other trials are over.

There is no law in Nebraska that would allow for prosecution of this lowlife.
