I dont agree with this at all, think his record stands up next to most and his teams have played some excellent football in that time. I don't know what is going on at Arsenal but I just can't believe Wenger has not bought what he needs because he has a project like most think. Seems to me Arsenal have two very wealthy people in charge of their purse strings trouble is, the wrong one has the majority. Great for us though so let them carry on.

I did predict in the summer that arsenal will struggle in the same way we did in 09/10

He hasn't replaced the players he's sold for a good few years now. He got lucky years ago that Adebayor and Toure and go co were good enough to step up. His new youngsters aren't and he's paying the price.

 

He spent over £50m this summer. So the 'the board are withholding funds' argument doesn't really wash.

That might have some foundation but then he goes and spends £10m on a kid from Southampton when they had far bigger problems, I dont buy that excuse.

Not sure if that £50m bit is right, thought I read somewhere that Arsenal had made money this Summer. If he has failed to replace like for like then he deffo should go but, if they are/have been overly careful with the funds then that is not his fault and sacking him could make things even worse for them.

He's not spent £50m net, obviously. He's spent about -£20m net. But still spent £50m on an absolute shower of s***.
