That man makes me proud to be a Liverpool fan, hell, that man makes me proud to be a human.

The presence of Gray and Keys couldn't detract from him and his amazing life. I'm off to try to find a copy of his autobiography.

Read it years ago, it's a great read.

it may have been around the time that the predator boots hit the scene, there was a great documentary about the development of the boots, but mostly it just focused on craig and his life. was brilliant, must try to dig it up.

Keys deserves a bit of credit for his comments on Hillsborough also (although it was just a very brief reference), they are retelling the story at the start of October ahead of the political sideshow and Keys said "the truth needs to come out", I was suprised by that comment as I had him down as a heartless anti-Liverpool git but while listening to the interview I thought 'fair play', this post maybe overstates or understates it depending on your views of the man but either way, anyone who is fronting a radio show with the opinion that the truth needs to come out about Hillsborough deserves credit in my view.

I was in high school in the 70's and Craig's sister-in-law was my school teacher. He was playing for Newcastle KB Utd here in Australia. She said my sister's husband plays football in Newcastle and is about to go to the UK to try and get a contract there. His name is Craig Johnston.

The rest is history smile.gif

Met him once after a talk hed done in Dublin.

Suggested he really needs to do an updated autobiography seeing as his other one was done early 90s and hes had quite the interesting life since then.

I mean if tossers like Ronnie Whelan can get published...
