looks like amazon and argos are starting to take pre orders for this for a release date on new years eve.

 

Anyone going to buy one? Price is £230 for the wi-fi version and £280 i believe for the 3G/Wi-fi model.

 

Certainly looking at the spec of it (quad core, OLED screen) £230 certainly seems to be very reasonable, would even go as far as to say it looks as if sony will be taking a loss on the hardware to begin with to get the thing out there.
