I was thinking about Kenny's contribution to the club earlier on and thinking that he is an amazing servant to this club. With that thought in mind, Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley sprang to mind.

 

3 people who have contributed an amazing amount to our club, one has a statue, one has gates ...... what will Kenny get/deserve.

 

When you think of the times that he has transcended;

 

a) a player in our most successful period

 

b) the best player in our history

 

c) our 1st double winning manager

 

d) a successful manager with a team that played some of the most exciting football

 

e) a man that led a city after a tragedy

 

e) the man that came back to revive a club after his predescessor maintained that mid-table was our level.
