New tablet

hey guys i am looking to buy one of those tablets,not an ipad but one of the others.I have no clue as to what i should get i just want something i can watch movies and maybe play the odd game while i sit on my ar$e at work.I have heard the samsung galaxy 10.1 is good and some hewlett packard one as well, any info you guys can give would be great, ty.
