Was gonna start this after 11pm tonight, but feck it.

I have to hold my hands up here. I had my doubts about Damien Comolli when he was appointed as DOF.

Any doubts I've had have been completely washed away with our dealings this transfer window.

We haven't fecked around and done what it takes to get our targets into the club after analysing the weaknesses in our squad and then identifying the players to resolved those problems. We've been swift, decisive and absolutely immense.

More astonishingly we've shifted all the deadwood out, clearing up our huge wage bill.

If you would have told me a couple of months ago that we would have shifted pretty much all Hodgson s**** and the left overs from Rafa's regime, I would have told you to behave.

So a big up to Damien and your hard work is noted and very much appreciated. Also FSG for providing the funds to make all this possible, who have backed Kenny all the way.

:applause:

We'll probably never know how much we had to pay them all to go but he's done an incredible job finding home for (nearly) all of our s****. Our signings have been brilliant too but I think the harder part of his job was clearing out the dross.

its funny cos when he came in I'll guess we all thought of him as a scout more than anything, but basically he's put a massive graft in getting the players (I think in the main) Kenny wants, plus shifted a load too.

Its a slightly different situation to the one I persinally envisiged, but it seems to be going very well.

Spurs signed Parker - ex Charlton, West Ham, Chelsea

Loves a London club, does Scotty, likely spend his final season at Fulham...

I think it's more of having good people in all positions of power at the club, Manager, directors, DOF, etc.

I've never agreed with you about anything. Ever.

But here is a first. Spot on.

The backroom team has been fantastic

Without a doubt probably one of the best transfer windows this club has ever had if you include January signings, absolutely incredible!!

Comolli deserves all the credit he gets, what an astute signing by the club and we've strengthen in every position that was necessary at the end of last season.

OK, our spending since Kenny took over:

Players bought: £111.7million

Players sold: £75.15million (Does not include two undisclosed fees, assuming Merieles is £12million)

Net Spend: £36.55million.

About £36-37million to revamp the squad thats excellent. :)

Nope, notice I put "since Kenny took over" so includes January window.

It's still miles out. Your whole net spend measurement is flawed.

Assumes Aquilani fee is ultimately received. All figures for transfers are best estimates based on media reports. The wages saved is complete speculation.

Fletch stick an extra £4million in the out column, missed Ngog.

I like Comolli and have defended him on here in the past, but the Cole and Aquilani deals are not great ones, they might well be the best we can get but can't be described as great bits of work. Poulsen, Jovo, and Degen are complete unknowns depending on how much we've paid to get rid.

Still done a cracking job over all though. Suarez, Adam, Enrique, Bellamy are all absolute bargains, and hopefully, once he's settled and we've seen a bit of him, Coates will be added to that list as well.

Also seem to recall Jova being on higher wedge, some reported Poulsen was on £60,000 p/w also.

Think Aquilani is a difficult one as he didn't want to be here and his agent seemed like a b*****d. As I said on other thread, hoping the figures on Cole is to get Lille onside with Hazard in future (as said by Guardian).

It's impossible to even try and calculate a net spend, We would have spent a hell of a lot of money on pay outs to the departing players that won't get published in public.
