Freaky Morning

[Nebraska Red]

I was out working in the back yard earlier today and noticed a wood pecker on one of the bird feeders. I went in to get the camera and took a few pics.

 

As I finished, a Coopers Hawk, a common bird of prey around here, flew past the bird feeder and grabbed another bird from the top of one of the other bird feeder stands. Frightened the crap out of me at the time.
