Relegation is going to be interesting next season. Started thinking about having a bet on it as I'm tempted to hammer into Blackburn to go down.. But when I started to think who else is in the frame...

The newly promoted

QPR: Managed by Colin. So relegation almost inevitable. Plus if the lose Taraabt then likely they're fecked.

Norwich: Dunno much about them really but Norwich always get relegated.

Swansea: Finished 4th in the division and came with a real run of form but from what I saw they looked like they'd concede goals.

Then the usual suspects...

Wolves, WBA & Wigan. Wigan losing N'Zogbia will hurt them. I suspect Wolves should do enough to stay up. Hodgson will keep WBA up by appearing to be completely clueless, lulling the opposition into a true sense of security.

Then the possibles...

Blackburn - I think that Kean is s*** and they look to be buying nobody. They properly nosedived last season and if they lose Samba as well as Jones they're fecked.

Fulham - Jol will probably do alright there and keep them up.

Sunderland - Probably got enough in the squad to stay up.

Then the longer shots

The Geordies - they've sold some key players and bought nobody... They could be in the s**** as well. They'll probably do enough at home to stay up though, assuming they get a striker in.

The Ev - paper thin squad and that but they'll start off abysmally but then do enough, or start off really well and then turn to s***.

This means of course that the only teams I'm not considering for relegation are... Us, Man U, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Stoke, Bolton & Villa. And to be honest, I'm not confident about the last 3 of them particularly...

Mental league next season when you start to think of it like that

I was thinking Villa to go down as an outsider. Blackburn have got to be a good shout.

I also have a promotion treble of Leicester, Bristol Rovers and Huddersfield at about 19s. Risky with Konchesky being at Leicester, but hopefully he'll get dropped.

I think Villa are OK thanks to Bent. He'll score enough for them and their back 4 is decent enough to keep them up.

QPR, Swansea and Blackburn all to for me.

The first don't seem to have the squad or quality to stay up. Blackburn look like this season's WHU. They'll buy too late into the market and pay over-the-odds for journeymen, have a manager out of the depth, owners who don't know whether to interfere or not and their better players on the lam.

Ultimately it's not about thinking who are the worst 3, it's taking a team like Blackburn & thinking 'which 3 are worse'

Really, there should be about 8 teams relegated as every year there's a handful who only stay up because there were teams much s***ter than them, not really because they deserved to stay up

I think QPR will stay up, just..... Taarabt will be staying according to their owners

Can see Swansea, Norwich and Wigan going down

Reckon Norwich will stay up. If only because there are teams likely to do worse than them, rather than them being better, if you get my drift. Reckon it'll be tight at the end of the season though

My first bet of the season is Steve Keen to be 1st manager sacked

He must be f***ing short odds...

Him and Colin must be favourites in fact

the three promoted teams to go straight back down for me

na, reckon QPR will stay up. Colin will get sacked and they'll get a proper manager in and spend a few quid in January. Blackburn and Wigan i reckon could go down

Are Newcastle going to be able to turn a f***ing side out?

Venkys are nuts enough to sack Keen in August... maybe before a ball has been kicked.

Blackburn, Villa & Newcastle would all be nailed on certainties if there weren't so many teams that are even worse. The 3 that came up for a start.

QPR came up on a wave of the promise of riches... which have not materialised. Norwich & Swansea will both be the Burnley & Blackpool of this season. They'll play some good stuff, get early points and then drop like stones. I think it's the weakest Premier League for years.
