Before they came along we were keen that we were still run as a club and not some faceless business. 3 years of those sharks and we are all versed in corporate insolvency, leveraged debt and the like and are now delighted that the club is being run as a business

 

Don't get me wrong, if the alternative is waiting for a Abu Dhabi sheikh or Russian crim/oligarch to come along, I'll take this every single time. It's a good thing, IMO. Moreso when the owners are seemingly doing it for the "right" reasons - on the pitch stuff rather than lining their own pockets/paying bank debt etc
