sean Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Lads, I'm involved with a side at a decent non-league level and I'm looking for ideas for pre-season to replace the standard hill/long/sand running that has been scientifically proven to be abolutely useless. We have use of a running track with a grass pitch in the middle to combine ball drills, if required.Read a decent article in the Guardian today about Wolves and what they're currently doing. A lot of short burst running with small recovery times with some dynamic stretching mixed in. Anyone have any experience at this type of thing? Appreciate any (serious) feedback.
