sean Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 You were given the choice to play 12 players v your oppo 11, what position would you utilise the spare player?????????
Hassony Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Depends on who I'm playing against If its Havant and Waterlooville than it will be a striker If its barca than probably a keeper If its united than its a central midfielder
johngibo YPC Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 You were given the choice to play 12 players v your oppo 11, what position would you utilise the spare player????????? 4-4-1-2 probably
ManxRed Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I'd get him to seriously seriously injure their star player and know that even if he gets sent off its still 11 v 11. Nani, maybe, Or Rooney.

John am Rhein Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 You were given the choice to play 12 players v your oppo 11, what position would you utilise the spare player????????? extra goalkeeper
carrafan Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Ferguson had that choice and he chose referee. Smart man.
Maldini Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Play a tucked in wide midfielder and an out and out winger on the same side.
schmuckdonald Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) 5-4-2. Extra centre back who can push into DM and cover space there, then you have two wing backs and two wingers/tucked in attacking midfielders. Would also let you have proper box-to-box midfielders again. Defensive, but not defensive, eh? Edited July 8, 2011 by schmuckdonald
goodrobotusses Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 4-2-3-2 or 4-3-4. Play two wingers, a playmaker (or three in CM) AND two strikers. 5-4-2. Extra centre back who can push into DM and cover space there, then you have two wing backs and two wingers/tucked in attacking midfielders. Would also let you have proper box-to-box midfielders again. Defensive, but not defensive, eh?Doesn't make any sense really. Certainly not if you're against a team that plays a single central striker (and given the opposition is outnumbered, it's pretty likely that they'll be trying to contain and counter). Why not play an extra midfielder and be done with it?

Would still like the idea of just having a libero-esque player, though.
Ombudsam Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Ferguson had that choice and he chose referee. Smart man. He actually chose Patrice Evra when it happened in their last friendly. Oh and you deffo have two goalies.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 4-4-1-2 probably Players who've turned out to be pretty average would have been great in that formation.Even Cheyrou might have been boss.

Kvarme Ate My Food Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Made for Vladi that! That's who I thought of first, but didn't want to call him average after Istanbul. But yeah.
