Packing it in again. He has to be the most unreliable footballer in history. He just can't commit can he?

Glad we never signed him. He'd be making everyone mental.

I don't see why anyone would begrudge him for wanting to be nearer his kids.

I'd be wondering why this problem wasn't known to him when he left manchester united. Had his wife not settled by then ? Why did he sign a 5 year contract at manchester city if the family wasn't happy here ?

Can't say I give that much of a s*** because City deserve all the problems they get from this ridiculous spending, but if we'd signed Tevez and this happened a year into his contract i'd not be too sympathetic with him.

then why sign for City? he signed for a club in the same place he was already living. he wouldnt have had to move house.

I'm not sure of the timelines, but whilst he has been at City, his wife had enough and moved back to Argentina and they split up. You'd imagine there was quite a bit of chat in the house about getting through the next few years for the huge salary before she bolted. You'd also imagine a condition of her going back to him was living somewhere she wanted to, clearly not the UK.

and if his family are in Argentina then why has he mentioned Italy? It's kin further away!

These Argentinian wives are right moaners aren't they.

'ooh I can't stand another moment being married to one of the richest footballers going in one of the most developed countries in the world'

His daughter got sick recently as well I think, which probably made the wife wanting to go back to Argentina

i'm amazed this doesnt happen more often.

frankly i'm a bit suprised that not one high profile player has jacked it in in their early 20's to enjoy their millions.

Yeah his family were still here when he was at Utd, they moved to Spain last summer and then back to Argie while he's been with City.

I am amazed how many "superstar" footballer wives get pissed off with their lives.

They live in the lap of luxury, want for nothing and they knew what they were getting into when they said "I do".

FFS, it's not like it's a 45 year career at the civil service, they put up with some "inconenience" for a few years and then retire.

These wives need to grow a pair, knuckle down and enjoy the ride.

Long term contract at city.

Massive salary.

Either City will take a big hit in terms of selling below market value or he'll need a massive pay cut.

Or they'll trade for Aguero. The c*nts.

Footballer's wife in not being shallow and materialistic shocker?

He's full of s*** excuses.... I know he's on 250k a week and to some the fact he's on that and still wants to leave shows commitment to his family, but unless he moves back to Argentina or to a Spanish speaking country that his family could settle down in then he's just a massive bulls***ter..

Remember his reasoning for not joining or considering Liverpool? Because of the rivalry with United? Thick t***...

some odd double standards in this. People will happily deride players for being mercenaries who are only in it for the money. Yet when Tevez's wife doesn't care to bow and scrape at the altar of her husband's multimillionaire salary and moves home to Argentina for her family's welfare, she's a spoiled tart.

Won't blame Tevez if he moves to a club where he can be with his family, whether he can convince them to move to Spain or Italy or going to Argentina. Wouldn't be surprised if it didn't pan out that way though. Tevez seems to be all over the place.

Don't think this has anything to do with his wife and kids. His agent Joorabchian was on to a good thing at City before Abu Dhabi came in (Tevez, Jo and Hughes are all clients) and now he's being ostracised.

Wouldn't surprise me if Joorabchian gets Hughes and Tevez in at Malaga before the end of the season.

this is all fair enough but i read somewhere that when he was moaning (in January?) about not getting on with executives at the club they gave him a week off to clear his head and he went on holiday....... not to see his wife and kids in Argentina.... but to Tenerife... with his bit on the side...... he wants out of City but hasn't got the balls to say why.. he knew where Manchester was when he signed for City and the problems his mrs had with Manchester/England must have been apparent while he was at the Mancs.. cracking player, bit of a c***.. but then, most of them are.. :)

Tevez's every public utterance is done thinking about his market value / career etc. Nothing to do with family life etc. A fantastic footballer, but a real thunderc*** as well.

That's also pretty much Tim Vickery's view on him.
