Maldini Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Found a lad on YouTube who's putting together ones from classic players, as well as other compilations. Here's a Revelino one and he has a few others from Valencia - Barca in 2000/2001 featuring Aimar, Xavi and Rivaldo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kKMEP6sDcA Sign him up!

smithdown Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 I demand to hear David Coleman (or similar) saying "RIVELINOOOOO!" now.
Raj Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 48 secs - lovely bit of skill there, Brian Pretty sure he said he invented that trick when he was interviewed on that Footballs Greatest show on Sky
KBR Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Some of the challenges these guys endured are awful. Can you imagine that these days?
Frosty Jack Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 According to several miserable c**** on here, these kind of compilations are no evidence of the quality of a players performance. f***ing laughable.

There are obviously players of immense talent whom you can produce hours of videos to demonstrate fantastic ability. They usually co-incide with the esteem they are held in, and the fact that youtube or no youtube video they are absolutely fantastic and world beaters. The problem I and many people have is, that when we are looking at a player, who really hasn't done anything and someone lobs up a youtube video to a David Guetta track and goes 'Look isn't he boss?' Well he isn't really, if you discount the last 20 seconds for credits, the first 20 seconds for an intro and a few player pics.

That's a completely different kind of compilation, you're missing the whole point of this. This is about in-game compilations covering every aspect as a scientific method to judge a players individual contribution to it, we're not talking about highlights reels here. There is often a deliberate failure to distinguish between the two. Edited July 4, 2011 by Wyndham Lewis

Although if you want to do some world class performances justice you're better off just watching the full 90 minutes.
