schmuckdonald Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 (edited) Reasonable list of squads here: http://en.wikipedia....3%A9rica_squads Pretty excited for it to get started. Anyone got any particular teams/players they're keeping an eye on? Excited to see Chile, even now they're Bielsa-less. Always want to see Uruguay, and interested in how Colombia get on as well. Argentina should walk it, and then I think they surpass Uruguay 15-14. Edited June 27, 2011 by schmuckdonald
Hassony Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I think the new look Brazil team will be interesting to watch shame Japan pulled out of this one, as they might have provided better competition than the Mexican under 10 team
Epic Swindle Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 ESPN. First game is on at stupid oclock but I think I'll be watching most of the games.
schmuckdonald Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 think it is Lucio, could be wrong, mind. Sanchez v Neymar v Cavani v Messi
Zoob Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Argentina 1 Bolivia 1. Some Traore-esque defending on the line from Banega (think it was him) lead to Bolivia taking the lead, but Aguero equalised with a brilliant finish 15 mins from time.
_00_deathscar Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Leaving Lavezzi on for that long was mad. He was shocking.
Swipe Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Stayed up to watch it but only on espn. Bulls**t Ah balls - I just assumed it was on Sky.
schmuckdonald Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 Don't know why the hell Batista changed the formation at half time. Really bad in the second half 'cause they couldn't get the ball forward along the ground. Thought Lavezzi was alright, did more than Tevez anyway. Felt sorry for Banega, had a good game in the first half but really struggled after that.
goodrobotusses Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 This is a right flounce: http://www.mundoalbiceleste.com/Article.aspx?id=2467 What a fadge.
schmuckdonald Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 This is a right flounce: http://www.mundoalbi...le.aspx?id=2467 What a fadge. Now THAT is an article.
Epic Swindle Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Neymar is a horrible little get, could see him fitting in comfortably at Chelsea.
schmuckdonald Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 Brazil look to have the potential to be a bloody saucy side. Really love that Ganso kid. Think Ramires as DM could be found out, mind. Would like to see Thiago Silva there.
Nebraska Red Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 did I imagine it, or did I see Lucas take on 2 or 3 players with some smooth moves?
Sion Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Brazil aren't looking very impressive so far. This is a poor Venezuela team as well.
