Calling Gennie Gurus.

 

I've been enjoying Last.FM on my iPod touch, wandering around the house (or any other WiFi establishment) with the headphones on. Specifically the ability to listen to music similar to artists I like and subsequently finding new stuff.

 

Now the mercenary b*st*rds are looking to charge a monthly fee so it no longer works for free.

 

Are there any alternatives? Specifically ones that generate similar music by genre? I have an internet radio app, but I do like the way Last.FM finds new stuff for me.

 

Just browsing the interent and found Musicovery, but reviews were poor. Anyone know of any other similar apps?
