Ombudsam Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Has anyone else found that it hasn't effected their day to day lives. I work in an industry where I might actually be shielded from it (lettings). However I know there's big things that arfe now more difficult for me to do like buying a place but if I moved somewhere other than where I wanted to live then that might be easier. I don't have a right to own a house and I don't have a right to live in London. Maybe it's cos I'm 29 and have no kids so it's easy for me. I'm just wondering if there are a whole load of people just getting on with it like. Y'know like how after the 2nd world war people's lives actually improved* despite it always being hailed as an era of austerity. *yes i'm aware that not being at war is better than being at war but i'm talking about their lives compared to the pre-war era.
