Gethin Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) How much? I may be visiting Liverpool quite a bit with work over the next year or so - so it may finally be worth my while. Schedule meetings for the Friday, on the lash Friday night, game on Saturday Edited May 25, 2011 by Gethin

Sion Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) Where do these priority tickets come from? Are they an offshoot of the PTS allocation?Begrudge paying £30 for no real gain. General sale is a pain but you can get tickets most of the time - unless they divert the allocation to this. And you can nearly always get spares off here, rawk or the rattle. saltysam Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 To be honest i've been a member for 2 seasons now and have managed to get a ticket for all our home league games, built up loyalty etc...it's a pain battling the online system on the day of sale and the £2.50 web fee was a rip off (looks like it's been removed now) but by and large i think it's a pretty good scheme.
DJS Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 If you're getting tickets for nigh-on every game, the removal of the websales booking fee will more than pay for the membership.
Dan Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 (edited) More info on those ticket packages. Doesn't say whether they'll be discounted by buying in bulk: After surveying supporters and listening to what they want from the membership scheme, we've made improvements to ensure members get better value and feel even closer to the club. The main adjustments include three levels of membership - adult, junior and international - with adult and junior subscribers given priority ticket access to all available Barclays Premier League home games. For the first time ever, tickets for the Barclays Premier League home games in the first half of the season will all go on sale at the same time to members during July, giving them an improved chance of seeing Kenny's men in action in the new campaign. Members need to have joined by July 7 in order to take advantage of this benefit and get access to these first-half season tickets. By joining the LFC Official Membership scheme, you'll also receive a monthly email newsletter which will provide exclusive video footage, interviews with the players and manager, and information and offers not available anywhere else, as well as a three-month free trail of LFCTV Online. In addition, our welcome packs are better than ever before and arrive in a specially designed presentation box packed with goodies and much more. Adult members will receive an exclusive book - Managing the Liverpool Way - and chrome LFC pen, as well as a benefits booklet, personalised welcomed letter and membership card (new members only). Junior members will get three signed photos of LFC star players and a back-to-school kit consisting of a drawstring bag, pencil case, ruler, eraser, pencils and notepad. International members will receive a memory stick containing exclusive footage from around the club and an interview with Luis Suarez not available anywhere else, as well as a chrome LFC pen. Adult membership costs just £29.99 for the season, while Junior (aged 12 and under) is £14.99. International supporters can sign up for £18.99. Edited June 6, 2011 by Grabiner
DJS Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Does that mean they'll be asking people to pay for half the season in one lump sum? Basically half-season tickets then.

aka Dus Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 I am on the seasie waiting list for years and would pay it tmrw, even though I would be able at best make half the home games. And yet this doesn't appeal to me for a mere 30 pound. I feel odd.

schmuckdonald Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 I want to look into how to get tickets easier this coming year as I'll be in the city a lot more with uni, but I doubt I'll have enough money in July to buy tickets to a few games and the membership fee. You guys wreckon tickets will still be pretty easy to come across over the course of the season? Always struggled with general sale and there's always a right scrabble on here.

If you're a member tickets will still be put aside as far as I know. I reckon you'll still be able to get tickets for every game this way. It's probably worth paying the £30 and doing it that way.

Sion Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 So to buy one of these block ticket things you have to have previous recorded attendance?

To have first dibs at them yeh but it's only 50% of members allocation and even they won't all go. Then there is a second round for all members. I think the only one you might struggle with is the mancs but you'd still get a ticket on your own somewhere if you really wanted. And the block can be as big or small as you like if i'm interpreting it correctly.
JonShar Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 So in a nutshell is this worth it? Or should I still chance getting a spare from a mate like I did last season? (To be fair, he came through about 75% of the time)
DJS Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 From what they have said, you can block-buy these tickets, but there will also be a portion of tickets available for members to buy, 'game by game' as you get nearer to the fixture date. Is that not right?

Sion Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Basically from what I can tell you'll save on the hassle of trying to get tickets and the £30 will probably pay for itself, or close to, in no buying fees.

Swipe Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Will you be able to buy more than one ticket for a game with this new membership?
