Montse Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Hope Raul is back, we really missed him Sunday. Villa will be up for it and Young will be out to impress but still fancy us for a win Andy didnt look fit so pop him on the bench then a cameo last 25 Same team as Fulham please Kenny!
Stupid Sexy Flanders Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I don't think Raul is fit, I'd play Shelvey in his place and try keep the midfield shape we were winning matches with. That'll mean we'll have to chose between Maxi and Carroll.
Cobs Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 didn't Carroll hit a hat-trick against these earlier in the season for Newcastle?
The_Adder Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 didn't Carroll hit a hat-trick against these earlier in the season for Newcastle? He did and a fine hatrick it was too. Gonna be a tough team selection this one... Reina Flanno Carra Srktel Johnson Speo Lucas Maxi Kuyt Carroll Suarez ? Or he could bench Carroll as he's clearly not fit, play Shelvey and send a message to Pearce about his fitness.
Stevie H Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 didn't Carroll hit a hat-trick against these earlier in the season for Newcastle?barcodes walloped them six didn't they? at home though.
muleskinner Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I don't think he will play, kenny wants to keep him out of Pearces reach.
Rimbeux Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I don't think he will play, kenny wants to keep him out of Pearces reach. He's going to be named in the senior squad though, for the qualifier a week or whatever before? There is chat he's already been left out of the U21s, just not sure if what happens this weekend has a bearing
Montse Posted May 20, 2011 Author Posted May 20, 2011 Martin Skrtel will have played every minute of every Barclays Premier League match this season if he completes our final day contest with Aston Villa on Sunday - something just one other outfield player in English football's top flight can boast. - Offal Pretty impressive that!
Tosh Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Pretty impressive that! Impressive avoiding being knocked out by Carra?

Kvarme Ate My Food Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 he is better than vidic who is the other outfield player that has done this? I seem to rememeber this. Think it was Guppy for Leicester around 98/99. LOL.Hang on, it's just one other player this season isn't it? Guppy was the only one that season anyway. Or maybe the season after.

Clay Davis Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 he is better than vidicnowhere near. He's quite good, but he's absolutely thick. Still flies in from behind for absolutely no reason and he can't header the ball. He's not as good as Vidic never mind better than.
Montse Posted May 20, 2011 Author Posted May 20, 2011 (edited) he is better than vidic who is the other outfield player that has done this? Leighton Baines apparently Raul should be back as well according to Kenny Edited May 20, 2011 by Montse

Hassony Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I said he was better 2 years ago and I am sticking by it even though I was obviously wrong

Chili Palmer Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 No he's not. of course, Hass might not have been talking about football. Big Marty is a whizz at that tennis game on the Wii.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Vidic is s***... I'd play: JonesFlano Carra Kurgan PFK (if he's back) Degs Poulsen Joke Hole Maxi No Goals Suarez (last game time for half of the team) btw - I wouldn't really
Conrad Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I fully expect to see Pacheco finally get a run out, probably as a rush goalie
Ed the Wool Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Gutted it's the last game, can't wait to get started again in August.
David Hodgson Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Photos from Melwood training yesterday suggest Aurelio and Meireles fit, and that Andre Wisdom may well be in the squad for tomorrow. http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/Search/Search.aspx?EventId=114450829&EditorialProduct=LiverpoolFC
